IntelliTrade's AI Brain is not a replacement for the rule-based auto-trading system — it is a complement. While the automated agents execute proven strategies with mechanical precision, the AI Brain provides a higher-level perspective: synthesizing multiple data sources, identifying patterns humans might miss, and offering context that pure rules cannot capture.

Think of it as having a knowledgeable trading partner who:

• Has instant access to real-time GEX data, VIX, SPX price, and options flow
• Remembers every trade you have made and their outcomes
• Can explain why the market is behaving a certain way, not just what is happening
• Learns from your feedback to improve its suggestions over time

How the AI Brain Works

The AI Brain is powered by Claude AI (Anthropic) and receives a rich context window for every interaction:

Data Inputs

• Live GEX profile — Current net GEX, Put Wall, Call Wall, GEX PIN, Gamma Flip, max pain
• GEX regime classification — Positive/Negative/Neutral with reasoning
• SPX price and intraday range — Current level relative to key GEX strikes
• VIX level — Market fear gauge for volatility context
• Trading phase — Morning/Midday/Reversal and what strategies are appropriate
• Recent trade history — What trades have been taken today, their outcomes, and P&L
• Futures context — ES/MES positions, ORB status, futures P&L from the IBKR Bridge
• Previous feedback — Your thumbs-up/down ratings on past suggestions

How It Responds

When you ask the AI Brain a question or request analysis, it processes all the above data together to provide a response that considers:

• The current GEX regime and what it implies for strategy selection
• Whether today's conditions favor pinning (range) or trending (directional) strategies
• Historical patterns from your own trade data — what has worked in similar conditions
• Risk factors like approaching VIX thresholds, time of day, or proximity to major levels

Options Analysis

The Options tab in the AI Brain sidebar (accessible from the Today's Trades page) focuses on SPX options trading:

• "What's the current GEX regime and what does it mean for trading today?"
• "Should I expect SPX to pin here or break out?"
• "Why did the system skip Iron Fly trades this morning?"
• "What's the best strategy for current conditions?"
• "Analyze today's trade performance — what went well and what didn't?"

Regime-Aware Suggestions

The AI Brain understands the same GEX regime rules that the auto-trading system enforces. It will never suggest a bullish trade in negative GEX or a bearish trade in positive GEX. Its suggestions are always aligned with the systematic rules, but it can explain the reasoning behind those rules in real-time context.

Futures Analysis

The Futures tab provides analysis specific to futures trading:

Data Sources

The futures analysis pulls real-time data from the IBKR Webhook Bridge, including:

• Current open positions (ES, MES, NQ) with entry price and unrealized P&L
• Today's filled trades and their outcomes
• ORB v11 signal status (breakout direction, entry levels, trailing stop positions)
• Account-level metrics (daily P&L, position count)

What You Can Ask

• "How are my futures positions doing today?"
• "Is the ORB breakout still valid or should I exit?"
• "What do the GEX levels suggest for ES support/resistance?"
• "Should I add to my position or tighten my stop?"

Daily Summary Reports

At the end of each trading day (4:15 PM ET), the AI Brain automatically generates a comprehensive Daily Summary that covers:

Summary Contents

• Market overview — SPX movement, GEX regime changes throughout the day, key levels hit
• Trade recap — Every trade taken, its strategy type, entry/exit prices, and outcome
• Performance analysis — Win rate, total P&L, best/worst trades, and patterns
• Quality gate activity — Which gates fired and what trades were filtered out
• Lessons learned — What conditions led to wins vs. losses, and what could be improved

You can access daily summaries from the Summary tab in the AI Brain sidebar, or trigger one manually for any past date.

The Feedback Loop

The AI Brain learns from your feedback through a simple thumbs-up/thumbs-down system:

How to Give Feedback

1. After receiving an AI suggestion, click the thumbs-up or thumbs-down button
2. Optionally add a comment explaining why (e.g., "Good call on the GEX flip warning" or "Iron Fly would have worked better here")
3. Your feedback is stored in the database and included in future AI prompts

How Feedback Improves the System

When generating new suggestions, the AI Brain receives a sample of your recent feedback. This helps it understand your preferences:

• Do you prefer conservative suggestions or aggressive ones?
• Which types of analysis do you find most useful?
• What conditions tend to produce good vs. bad outcomes for your trading style?

The more feedback you provide, the more personalized and relevant the AI's suggestions become.

Persistent Chat History

Your conversations with the AI Brain are saved across sessions. When you return the next day, the AI can reference previous discussions, creating continuity in your trading analysis. The system loads the 50 most recent messages to provide context without overwhelming the AI's analysis window.
